Lara Clement RMT/SSW

Registered Massage Therapist with 27 years of clinical experience and over two decades of clinic ownership, combining hands-on somatic bodywork with a professional background in social work, counselling, and group facilitation. My practice sits at the meeting point of the two: an understanding of the body and of the nervous system, shaped by years of working with people through stress, trauma, and change. Alongside clinical practice, I have developed and delivered training throughout my career, from employment and life-skills programs to mentoring massage practitioners in my own clinic. This combination of manual therapy, trauma-informed background, and teaching experience is the foundation for my continuing education work, published under the education brand The Body Informed Practitioner.
